Fitech injector stuck open. I have the fitech fuel system on my 72 440 challenger couple days ago i had to replace the battery on the car so i had the kid at a name brand auto parts store install an optimum battery on the car while i was inside paying for the battery the kid hooked the battery terminals up backwards causing my leads to start melting. I scanned through the dashboard on the fitech handheld while cranking and everything seems fine the fuel pump is going to 100 duty cycle its creating vacuum etc however the one thing that i am not sure about is the fuel injector duty cycle. I should have mentioned earlier that my fuel pump quit working inside of the fcc fitech sent me a new one right away. It would be really interesting if it worked and was user upgradeable. The symptoms of a stuck open or incompletely closing fuel injector are quite different than an injector that is completely dead or partially clogged. I asked fitech about it a while back if the injector was upgradeable on the 1200they said if i found one that would work then yes.
