Plug in timer not working. Turn the light on manually via the switch timer. Replace the bulb with a new one. What should i do if the timer isnt working consistently. I bought a couple of these digi timers a while ago as the tic tic of the normal ones annoyed the shite out of me. Now test the outlet on the wall by connecting some other device or appliance in it to see if it is working. If you have an older timer with an internal back up battery in it the battery could be weak or dead.
If you are trying to use a timer that has been in storage for some time follow these hints. If the light still fails to turn on the light bulb might be burned out. Now find the fuse or the housebreaker and disconnect it from the plug. Not sure if this started when i added another 125w. Not turning lights off.
