Im getting conflicting info about 3m 77 anf 90 adhesives. We invented 3m super 77 multipurpose spray adhesive to be an extremely versatile fast drying spray adhesive that bonds a wide range of lightweight materials. I bough some new cloth from seyberts and was all set to use 3m super 77 to adhere it to my slate i do not have a backer board when i called seyberts mechanic and he recommended high strength 90. With mostly poor results. The 90 seems to hold up the best in the high heat areas. I wouldnt use it for my headliner but for the doors im thinking itd be sufficient right.
